Hello Online Diary!
I have the blurb, and it’s fantastic!!!! Andrew is the best, and I’m grateful. When I have extra time to post about it on Facebook, I will test the taglines he created. I’ve submitted the blurb for the cover. I’m thrilled about it and can’t believe it’s coming in February. I thought of doing a long preorder, but I’m not as keen.
The feedback on a portion of Act II has returned, and so far, it is great. Spicy scenes are “on fire.” So, I guess I can say this one is spicy. I also read they have strong chemistry, and the connection with Sofia as the heroine is solid. Rocco is a strong, wonderful, caring man; I love him as my hero—lots of twists and turns. Hopefully, I’ll send this draft out again in a few days to a variety of readers to get a sense of what Draft 2 needs.
Update: I have about five scenes left to write to complete the full draft. It’s 46117 with 6653 that needs a rewrite, so it’s 52770 plus. I’d say maybe another 6k words to finish this first draft. Then, I’ll tackle the sections that need a full rewrite. Hopefully, I’ll have a working draft to receive more feedback and better understand what I need to change to start writing draft 2. I hope to do it next week on Friday at the latest. I am still looking for editing before the big edits.
Update x2: I wrote a quick version of what will become the end. I have to rewrite it to make it cohesive, then rewrite the 6653 plus whatever this ending is once I have written it fully. If all works out, I’ll have reached my target number for the first draft, and once it’s together, I can start getting the feedback I need to develop it. This is great news if it’s a good story.
I have some new pieces for my book packages, one arrives today and the other later this week.
Thank you for reading my books. Every day, I’m grateful for you and your support.
