Hello, birthday month! I usually tell my DH it’s birthday week and we have a laugh about it. He gave me an early birthday phone replacement because I broke mine. I’m quite clumsy at times.
Trying to finish book 3 update of Tiger Lily. My motivation is not with it atm. I’ve written 2 billionaire trilogies, and updating the TL trilogy feels like writing three. I’m struggling with the rewrite for 3 because it needs so much work and I’m truly exhausted. I feel like taking a break.
My other manuscripts are all a bit heavy in heart. I want to write something fun. I have a few drafts started. One book was with the heroine Maeve from “Shadow Under the Bridge,” a small-town second-chance story with a western theme. The other is from Love and Play, Zoey with the keeper, Ace. I started and abandoned that one ages ago. I found a really cool illustration artist who did a cute cover for Match Fit. I ordered Match Made, but I’m now considering returning the old covers because it’s off-trend.
The most promising book is a time travel story. This one I’m excited about and eager to return to. There are so many directions I can go in with it. It’s inspiring!
Since Rosco’s gone, we’ve been trying to be more outgoing. It’s always so busy around here.
