Adelina is once again a new heroine for me. Lily was fascinated by Jonas from that first meeting at Sir Harry’s. Jonas, a workaholic fresh off divorce from his best friend, wasn’t looking for another serious relationship. In The Kept Trilogy, Nadia falls crazy in love with Paul in Paris. Paul, widowed and depressed over his marriage, wanted to have a relationship that he could completely control with no lasting commitment. It took time for Jonas and Paul to fall in love. Then we have Rocco Marini.

Rocco’s a breath of fresh air. He’s not the brooding, selfish billionaire. Rocco is a confident, sensitive, loving, idealistic dreamer. He’s dedicated, hardworking, and puts family first. He believes in love and wants to give his whole heart to his wife. But he also has an arrangement to marry a stranger. Adelina wants to stay clear of love because of the way she watched her mother’s body and soul break because of her love for her horrible father, Judge Colby. Adelina sees love as a weakness. Love leads to control. Her mother destroyed her and her brother Jacob’s life for her father, Judge Colby. She didn’t want love for herself and welcomed the arranged marriage as a duty to her family to heal all the wrongs of the past. So, for Adelina and Rocco, love doesn’t come easy in The Love and Destiny trilogy.

Sex doesn’t define love, as we learned in The Billionaire’s Pact. The Billionaire Vow has drama and conflicts, but that’s life. Nothing is easy, but you must find a way to go on and enjoy it. You’ll see them bond. So I hope you’ll enjoy reading and experiencing Adelina and Rocco’s highs and lows but, in the end, root for their happily ever after. It’s three books as intended. But you’ll enjoy the journey and love Book 2.
